Home security and emergency alert sysetms:

To increase safety, homes can be equipped with medical alert buttons, fall detection monitors, motion sensors, emergency call systems, and smart home devices that notify caregivers or emergency services instantly. These tools help ensure that immediate support is available when every second counts.

VA emergency care:

the VA offers medical care that comes to private homes through programs like Home-Based Primary Care and Skilled Home Health Care. These programs are designed to provide care in a veteran's own home, especially for those with complex medical needs or difficulty traveling to a VA facility.

While VA home services are incredibly supportive, not all emergency 911 calls and hospital emergency room visits are fully covered by the VA. EY Art Charity aims to establish a dedicated budget to help cover emergency room bills for our heroes.

When this happens, veterans and dependent residents cannot be left unattended. It’s important to understand that the VA does not cover in-home care services; these costs are the homeowner’s responsibility. Care resources may not always be available on short notice, so having a plan in place is critical to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone in the home.
